Reviews & Protocols
This section will give you the current list of registered titles, published protocols and published reviews. We also include a list of topics that fall under the scope of the Back Group. Each review is linked to the Cochrane Library, where you can freely access the abstract (scientific summary) and the synopsis (lay summary), where available. However, the full text of the review is only available by subscription or other purchasing agreements.
There may also be other 'products' that are available for each protocol and review.
Some of the reviews have been co-published in another journal - this information is listed where indicated. In some cases, there have been alerts sent to the media when the review was published - this information is also listed where indicated. And last, but not least, the Institute for Work & Health, the organization that hosts the BRG, publishes Linkages, a newsletter that offers a synopsis, critique and clinical commentary of select published articles in the area of soft tissue injury for their clinical decision-makers. Cochrane reviews have been critiqued on a number of occasions, and, once again, this information is listed where indicated.
